Take Five Brownies - Nailed It!
Ingredients
1 box Milk-chocolate Brownie Mix (I was tempted to get the super-crazy-fudgy one, but Austin made me stick to the recipe)
Additional Required Ingredients Specified On The Brownie Mix Box (typically Water, Eggs And Oil)
1 cup Crunchy Peanut Butter
⅔ cups Powdered Sugar
1-½ cup Waffle (or 'snaps') Pretzels
1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips
½ cups Butter
½ cups Light Brown Sugar
6 Tablespoons Corn Syrup
2 Tablespoons Heavy Cream
½ teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
Mix the brownies according to the directions on the back of the box
Pour into 9x13 pan and bake as directed (ours took about 30 minutes).
While the brownies are baking, stir together the peanut butter and powdered sugar (We ended up doubling the amount because we really like peanut butter, and it didn't seem like there would be enough to cover it...also about half of it may have disappeared somehow before the brownies were done baking... 0:] )
Take the brownies out of the oven and let cool.

While the brownies are cooling, combine butter, brown sugar, heavy cream, and corn syrup in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the caramel starts to thicken. Remove from heat and add vanilla
Pour caramel over the top of the brownies.
Melt chocolate chips and spread over the top. Let cool (trust me on this...we got impatient and tried to cut them early....we ended up pretty much needing a spoon to eat them)
